MEET THE CEO
A quick hello…

My name is William and I've been a Personal Trainer for almost 20 years. I am based in London, so you may see me around, if you do, say hi! I'm always open to constructive feedback on how to make this app even better. For less than the price of a gym day pass, my goal is to make fitness fun, affordable, and accessible to everyone.

I am a solo Personal Trainer trying to compete in the big leagues. I don't have a million-pound budget, just a huge passion for health and fitness. All the audio voiceovers were done by myself or friends, so if you're one of them, thank you! And to you behind the screen: thank you for downloading my app and for being a part of my journey.

William
Train. Track. Connect.

Everything you need, all in one app.

Pick a few exercises, press start and follow along. Every exercise has a real demo video that plays full-screen with the countdown timer next to it. No tiny looping GIFs where you can't tell what the move actually is.

Workout Builder

Five-slot routines, built for any space.

256 PT-shot exercises. Tabata mode workouts. Turn on your camera and train with a friend.

  • Hard, medium, light intensities
  • Tabata mode (8 rounds, 20s on, 10s off)

  • Voice cues from your chosen coach
  • Auto-advance through sets and reps
  • Memory Bridge: flag pain or weakness for next time
Live workout session with full-screen demo video and 41-second timer
Workout Log

Log every set. Share every session.

Log every lift properly. Weight, reps, recovery time, plus drop sets, supersets, trisets and giant sets if that's how you train. Everything saves to your file automatically and sorts into Strength, Run and Cycle tabs you can look back through any time.

Hit Share on a finished session and it lands on your friend's feed straight away. Coaches can log a session for a client, and it lands in the client's exercise log.

  • Built-in stopwatch and countdown for every set
  • Recovery timer auto-fills your rest gap
  • Drop set, superset, triset and giant set support
  • Real-time session sharing to friends and clients

Gym Genie

Your Gym Genie. Personalised to you, every answer.

Three fitness questions a day, answered by Claude, and every answer is built around your data. Before it replies, Gym Genie reads your last 30 days of workouts, your sleep, your water intake, your stretch logs, your notes and your training history. Ask "what should I train today?" and it'll tell you because it can see your hamstrings have a score of 1 and your glutes a 5. Ask "why am I tired?" and it'll factor in last night's sleep and yesterday's session.

Stays in its lane: fitness only. No medical advice, no random chat, no off-topic. If you ask about an injury it sends you to a physio. Built lean so it's cheap to run and stays sharp.

  • Reads your 30-day workout, sleep, water, stretch and notes data before every reply
  • Three questions a day, answers tailored to your 30-day training data
  • Form, sets and reps, programming, recovery, supplements
  • Refuses anything non-fitness so it never wanders
  • No medical advice. Pain or injury? See a GP or physio
Gym Genie chat: user asks 'What muscle group do you think I should train today?' Gym Genie replies 'Your 30d data makes this easy, hamstrings (score: 1) and glutes (5) are almost untrained. Hit a posterior leg day: Romanian deadlifts, hamstring curls, hip thrusts.'
AI Pace Maker

Cardio coaching that runs with you.

Set a target time and head out. The app tracks your GPS, calls out your pace every kilometre, and tells you when you're going too fast or too slow. You can race your previous best time, hold a steady pace, or just have it check in on you.

  • Live pace, distance and route on a dark map
  • Ghost Race: your past run becomes a ghost runner
  • King and Queen of the Road: claim London's iconic routes for your borough
  • Live hazard alerts spoken in your ear via The Lookout
AI Pace Maker summary with route map, pace breakdown and stats
Train Together Live

Mirror Sessions. Both cameras on. Mates in the room.

Hit "Train Together" and you and a friend are on the same circuit at the same time, both cameras on. Up to three other mates can drop in as spectators, with the feeds stacked side by side. They can hear the audio, throw emoji, leave a quick voice note that plays out loud on your phone mid-set.

  • Live two-way video, locked to the same circuit
  • Spectator Mode for up to 3 friends per session
  • "Currently training" banner on profiles. Request a seat
  • Cheer with emoji or voice notes that play live on their screen

  • Stretches across light, medium and hard
  • Pulled from your most recent workout
  • Cycle phase awareness (optional)

Move outside. Move together.

Fitness is mental health. So GYM gets you out the door, with people.

Hi-5 a friend's workout. Toggle "Available for a Walk" so mates can join you. Run alongside someone miles away with Live Merge. Daily squad battles, snail-chase survival, voice notes on the Wall. The point is to actually do things with your mates, not just scroll past their posts.

Squad War 5v5

Daily Rush. First to 3 wins the war.

Five of you against five of them, with a different challenge every day. Live leaderboard, colour-coded track and real avatars on screen. The challenge changes daily, so you're never doing the same thing twice in a row.

  • 5v5 daily team battles
  • Multiple modes: steps, lifts, distance, all-rounder
  • Best of 5 over the week
  • Anti-cheat caps + monotonic triggers (no inflated metrics)
Squad War Daily Rush with live leaderboard and team track
The Wall

Voice notes, emoji and Pokes on your friend's wall.

Leave a voice note on a friend's wall. Hi-5 their workout, drop an emoji, or send them a Star if they've smashed a session. It works more like a group chat with your training mates than a social feed.

  • Voice notes + text messages
  • Quick emoji reactions, Hi-5s, Pokes
  • "Gift a Star" recognition
  • Wall children expire after 7 days; the wall lives forever
Friend Wall with voice notes, reactions, Poke and Gift a Star
Walk Together

The step counter that knows when your friends are free.

Switch yourself to "Available for a walk" and you show up on your mates' screens. Tap Join on someone else doing the same and you've got plans. There's a 7-day consistency score, a weekly bar chart, and a quick read of how many steps you need today to stay on track.

  • Synced with Apple Health / Health Connect
  • Walking status: Available · Busy
  • 10K Step Race: challenge a mate live
  • Snail Chase survival mode (classic + hardcore)

Everything else

Everything you do, on one screen.

You don't need five separate apps. GYM tracks strength, cardio, walks, sleep and water in one place, and the AI Trend Spotter looks at it all and tells you what's changed.

Gym Genie

Your pocket fitness coach, personalised to you. Reads your last 30 days of workouts, sleep, water and notes before every answer, so the advice is built on what you've actually been doing, not a generic script.

Gym Genie chat: user asks what muscle group to train today and Gym Genie answers using their 30-day data, pointing out hamstrings score 1 and glutes 5 are almost untrained.

Human Battery

Daily Briefing

Type a sentence about how you feel. The app reads it like a coach would, tired, sore, fired-up, and adjusts today's intensity recommendation. And it remembers what you flag: mention a sore ankle once and it'll factor that into future sessions automatically. Once a day, then it leaves you alone.

Daily Briefing popup asking 'How's the body feeling today?' with a text input and a Get My Recommendation button.

Shared Logs

Save a workout and it lands on your friend's file straight away, every set, every weight, every second of rest. Comment on each set. Coaches can log a session for a client, and it lands in the client's exercise log.

FAQ

Quick answers before you commit.

Do I need an Apple Watch or fitness band?
No. Most features run on the phone alone: step counting, route tracking, workout sessions, the games, the Wall, all of it. A watch unlocks heart-rate-driven extras like the Smart Rest Timer, Class Tracker HR graphs and richer Wellness Dashboard data. Everything else works without one.
Is it really cancel-anytime?
Yes. The 7-day trial requires no card. After that, manage and cancel from your Apple ID Account Settings (iOS) or in the app (Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. No partial-month refunds, no surprise charges either.
What happens to my data if I delete the app or my account?
In-app: Settings → Account → Delete My Account permanently removes your data. By email: williamawere@hotmail.com from your registered address, actioned within 30 days. Data is stored in the EU (Supabase) and never sold. Full terms in the Privacy Policy.
Do I need to be in London?
No. The app works anywhere. London-specific touches (King and Queen of the Road's iconic routes, the Lookout community map, the local PT pool) are bonuses if you're nearby. Everything else, workouts, AI Pace Maker on your own routes, Squad War, the Wall, is location-agnostic.
When can I actually download it?
Live on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Android users can download direct from this website right now, the Google Play listing is coming soon. If you'd rather wait for the Play Store version, drop a note to williamawere@hotmail.com and we'll ping you when it lands.
Will my workouts and data sync if I switch phones?
Yes. Sign in with the same email and your full history (workouts, routes, friends, Wall, streaks) comes with you. Apple Health and Health Connect sync is per-device and just needs to be re-authorised on the new phone.
What permissions does the app ask for, and why?
All of these are tap-by-tap on first use, and you can revoke any of them later in your phone's settings. Nothing is sent anywhere except what you actually do (a workout, a route, a photo).

Health (Apple Health on iOS, Health Connect on Android): step count, heart rate, sleep, distance, the metrics that drive the Step Counter, Wellness Dashboard and smartwatch sync.
Location: GPS for the AI Pace Maker, the Lookout hazard map, your route while you're out running or cycling.
Motion: steps from the phone's own sensor when Health isn't active.
Microphone: voice notes on the Wall, audio in Mirror Workouts, dictating a workout instead of typing it.
Camera: Photo ID for machines, video in Mirror Workouts, profile picture.
Notifications: workout reminders, friend requests, hazard alerts on a route, class start times.
Bluetooth: pairing a chest strap or smartwatch for heart rate.
My step count looks wrong or isn't tracking. How do I fix it?
Nine times out of ten this is a permissions thing. On iOS go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → GYM and check Steps is on. On Android open Health Connect → Apps → GYM and grant the Steps permission there too. Samsung phones have one extra trap: the battery manager can quietly kill the step service. Open Settings → Battery → GYM and set it to Unrestricted. Inside the app, the Step Counter screen also has a "Steps not counting?" card with a one-tap fix and a manual override box if you've already walked but the phone was sitting in a drawer.
My smartwatch or chest strap isn't showing a heart rate.
On iPhone, GYM reads live heart rate through Apple Health, so your watch needs to be paired with your iPhone in the Apple Watch app first. On Android, it's the same idea but through Health Connect, with a feeder app like Samsung Health, Garmin Connect or Fitbit pushing the data in. For Bluetooth chest straps, pair them in your phone's Bluetooth settings first, then they'll appear in the app under Connect HR Monitor.
Something feels broken or just crashed. What now?
Force-quit and reopen first. Most of the time the app pulls a fresh update in the background, and the next launch is back to normal. If something specific is still off, the Feedback button inside the app goes straight to William's inbox with your device info attached. That's the fastest way to flag a real bug. You can also email williamawere@hotmail.com directly.

Get GYM. Get moving.

Live on the App Store. Android: direct download from this website (Play Store coming soon).

Android users: you'll see a "from an unknown source" warning the first time, that's normal for any app installed outside the Play Store. Tap "Install anyway" or enable installs from your browser in Settings → Apps → Special access. Google Play listing coming soon.
