Each user may win at most ONE prize across the entire giveaway, this includes milestone prizes, the £1,000 runner-up, and the monthly draws. Past winners are excluded from all subsequent draws. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family are not eligible.
In-app route. Every GYM App user gets a unique referral code at signup. When a friend signs up using your code AND becomes an active paid subscriber, you earn one referral credit. The leaderboard ranks every user by paid-referral count, refreshed every 10 minutes.
You do not need to refer anyone to be eligible for the £1,000 runner-up draw, that prize is a random pick among every paid subscriber who meets the eligibility conditions in section 2.
No purchase necessary. You can enter the prize draw without a paid subscription by sending a postcard to the address below with your full name, postal address, email address, and a note stating which draw you wish to enter (next milestone draw, £1,000 runner-up draw, or monthly draw). Postal entries are equivalent to one ticket and are kept until the relevant draw runs; entries received after a draw has been made will be applied to the next applicable draw. One postal entry per person per draw period.

Each milestone prize is drawn at random from the pool of users who meet a minimum paid-referral threshold at the moment the milestone is reached. The threshold scales with the milestone:

The Promoter will draw each winner within 14 days of the milestone being reached. The draw is conducted using a verifiably random selection from the eligible pool. Empty-pool fallback: if fewer than three users meet the threshold at the moment a milestone is reached, the prize is awarded by random draw from the top three referrers at that moment.
When the 10,000th active paid user is registered, the Promoter will compile the leaderboard of users meeting the eligibility conditions in section 2. The top 1,000 by paid-referral count form the prize pool. A single winner is then selected from this pool at random using a cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues). If fewer than 1,000 users meet the eligibility conditions, the entire eligible pool participates in the random draw.
Independent of the £2,000 bundle, a separate random draw runs at the 10,000-user milestone for the £1,000 cash runner-up. Every user meeting the eligibility conditions in section 2 is automatically entered with one ticket. No referrals required.
Launch-week double-entry promo: users who first registered on GYM App between 00:00 BST on Mon 18 May 2026 and 23:59 BST on Mon 25 May 2026 inclusive, and who are still active paid subscribers at the moment of the 10,000-user draw, receive two tickets in the £1,000 runner-up pool, doubling their chance of winning.
The runner-up draw uses the same cryptographically secure random number generator. The £1,000 winner is independent of the £2,000 winner, but no individual can win both (and no individual can win the runner-up if they have already won an earlier-milestone prize or a monthly draw).
As a one-time launch-week promotion, a £25 Amazon voucher will be awarded to the user who brings in the most engaged referrals between 00:00 BST on Mon 18 May 2026 and 23:59 BST on Mon 25 May 2026 (Bank Holiday Monday). An engaged referral counts when a user signs up using the entrant's referral code within the window AND has logged at least one workout, walk or Pace Maker session before the draw runs. The 7-day free trial means most referees won't have converted to paid by draw time, so we measure real app engagement instead of subscription status. Ties are resolved in favour of the entrant whose qualifying referrals were earned earliest. The draw runs on Tue 26 May 2026. Eligibility conditions in section 2 apply.
From June 2026 onwards, a £25 Amazon voucher is drawn each calendar month by random selection from every eligible paid subscriber. No referrals required, every active paid subscriber meeting the conditions in section 2 automatically gets one ticket.
The monthly draw activates only after GYM App reaches 100 active paid users. Until that threshold is crossed, no monthly draws take place. From the first qualifying month onwards, draws run on the first day of each month, covering the just-finished month. Past winners are excluded from all subsequent draws.
Prizes will be dispatched to a UK postal address provided by the winner within 30 days of confirmation. Vouchers will be sent electronically to the winner's verified email address. Cash prizes will be paid by bank transfer to a UK account. Holiday prizes are subject to availability and the winner's flexibility on travel dates; cash alternatives are not available except where stated.
Winners will be contacted via the email address registered to their account within 7 days of the draw. Winners must respond within 14 days of being contacted, or an alternate winner will be selected.
We reserve the right to disqualify entries we reasonably believe have been obtained through fraudulent activity, including (but not limited to) creating multiple accounts to inflate referral counts, using bots, paying third parties to sign up, or any attempt to manipulate the random draw. Subscriptions cancelled within their first month may be excluded from referral counts at our discretion.
Winners may be announced in-app and on our social media channels using their first name and the first letter of their surname (e.g. "Will A."). By entering you agree to this. If you would prefer not to be named publicly please tell us when we contact you.
We process your account data (display name, referral code, paid subscription status, app activity, signup timestamp) solely for running this promotion and contacting winners. Postal entries are kept until the next applicable draw and then destroyed. Our full privacy policy is available in the app under Settings → Privacy Policy and at /privacy.
The Promoter's liability for any aspect of this promotion is limited to the value of the prize at stake. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
